- I think we can all agree that Wiz Khalifa's greatest offense in this incident is looking like Wiz Khalifa. Okay, maybe not all of us. Anti-Hoverboard groups probably think this is justified as well.<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rqY7ERLavBM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

As you can see in the above video, there are about five police officers kneeling on top of Wiz Khalifa, saying "stop resisting!" as Khalifa continues, against clear instructions, to NOT RESIST!
Now, the "hoverboard" in question is really an IO Hawk, basically a segway without handlebars. They call it an "Intelligent Personal Mobility Device," and you've probably seen a few rappers and celebrities on them lately. (Plenty of Internet stars have been using a similar product called a Glidr.)
And sure, it's annoying as hell and makes you look like kind of a douche, but it's no reason to arrest someone. Plus, Khalifa might be right. Maybe we will all be riding them in six months and I'll have to eat my words.
Khalifa tweeted extensively about the incident after being released.
