Scientists prove that double-dipping a chip is disgusting

Our greatest fears have come true. Double-dipping a chip into dip is scientifically proven to be disgusting. According to an article in Scientific American, mouth bacteria really does swirl around in salsa when someone takes a dip, takes a bite, and dips again.

LAS VEGAS – Members of the Kardashian family, with the exception of Lamar Odom's estranged wife Khloe, left the bedside of the stricken former NBA player on Thursday as speculation swirled that his life-threatening condition was worsening.

Odom had been visited by several members of his own family and the Kardashians at the Sunrise Hotel, around three miles from the Las Vegas Strip, as he battled for his life following a three-day binge at a Nevada brothel that included alleged use of cocaine and sexual performance supplements.

It is believed that several Kardashians left the hospital around midday on Thursday, using a delivery entrance in order to avoid television cameras that were camped out at the front and side of the facility.

There was nothing in the way of positive information regarding the 35-year-old's condition, with no update from either the family or medical staff.

  There’s a lot to cover from last night’s Emmys. If you weren’t watching and frantically live-tweeting like we were, the above video will catch you up on the following crucial points:

  • Jon Hamm finally won after seven years of playing Don Draper.
  • Amy Poehler made a joke out of the fact that she never managed to win for Leslie Knope in “Parks and Recreation.”
  • Tracy Morgan made a special appearance after last year’s serious car accident and it was seriously heartwarming.
  • Terrence Howard kissed Taraji P. Henson while they presented an award together and it sort of creeped everyone out.
  • “Game Of Thrones” won for Outstanding Drama Series, and Amy Schumer crashed their cast photo.

  The biggest news of the night was Viola Davis becoming the first black woman to win lead actress in a drama series for "How To Get Away With Murder." Her speech is worth listening to in full.

  Her inspiring words generated a lot of discussion online - including, unfortunately, some tweets from “General Hospital” star Nancy Lee Grahn, who scoffed at Davis referencing Harriet Tubman (“its a fucking emmy for gods sake, she wasn’t digging thru a tunnel”). One now-deleted tweet said, “Emmys not venue 4 racial opportunity. ALL women belittled.” (Yes, she “All Lives Mattered” this situation.)

• I think we can all agree that Wiz Khalifa's greatest offense in this incident is looking like Wiz Khalifa. Okay, maybe not all of us. Anti-Hoverboard groups probably think this is justified as well.

As you can see in the above video, there are about five police officers kneeling on top of Wiz Khalifa, saying "stop resisting!" as Khalifa continues, against clear instructions, to NOT RESIST!

Now, the "hoverboard" in question is really an IO Hawk, basically a segway without handlebars. They call it an "Intelligent Personal Mobility Device," and you've probably seen a few rappers and celebrities on them lately. (Plenty of Internet stars have been using a similar product called a Glidr.)

And sure, it's annoying as hell and makes you look like kind of a douche, but it's no reason to arrest someone. Plus, Khalifa might be right. Maybe we will all be riding them in six months and I'll have to eat my words.

Khalifa tweeted extensively about the incident after being released.

Ghostface Responds to Action Bronson... and It's Hurtful

Throughout his career, Action Bronson has been frequently compared to Ghostface Killah of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan. His rapping, that is. He's a white guy with a huge crazy beard - no one's mixing them up on the street.

Anyway, about a month ago, Bronson went on ESPN's "SportsNation" and talked a bit about the constant comparisons. Things started off well enough - he said comparisons between rappers are inevitable, like comparing Coke to Pepsi, and pointed out that he was flattered to be mentioned alongside "one of the greats." So far, so good, A.B.!

But then things took... a turn. Responding to another anchor's praise of his own work, Bronson added "he's not rapping like this no more." It was widely seen as a diss on Tony Starks, even by the other panelists, implying that his latest releases aren't as good as his Wu-Tang work, or classic solo albums like "Supreme Clientele" and "The Pretty Toney Album." 

What? You're not intimately familiar with 2004's "Fishscale"? Literally how dare you.

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner are getting divorced

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are getting divorced NOT because of his drinking and gambling, but because he's become such hot property in Hollywood, she felt neglected ... so say some well-placed sources.  

There are clearly 2 views on the demise of the marriage. As we first reported, some sources with a bird's-eye view have told us Jen was fed up with Ben's booze and blackjack habits. But other sources who are also very familiar with the couple are saying when push came to shove, Jennifer made no mention of alcohol and gambling ... her beef was that Ben wasn't a "present husband."

Fact is ... Ben has had back-to-back film projects for several years, and spent much of his time out of town. The sources say Jen felt ignored and neglected, and they argued frequently over it.

These sources say this has nothing to do with Ben being a neglectful dad. Quite the opposite, they say he's a great dad who does everything he can for the kids. And, we're told, she didn't really have any beef about his parenting skills ... her  problem was with Ben as a husband.

In the end, we're told the breakup was mutual. Ben felt he was a good husband, who was juggling his career and family, but it wasn't enough for her.
